American Heros IMT Card Contest

American Heros IMT Card Contest

Hello everyone,
I’m excited to announce that in conjunction with the IMTA symposium next week we are launching a competition to feature real Incident Management Team’s in our games!

These will be our brand new American Heros Cards that feature your picture and top IMT qualifications! We want to put real American heroes (you) on our cards, like baseball cards to be used for our disaster wargames, and training and exercises. These cards reinforce key elements of NIMS/ICS and challenge teams during exercises to think through critical issues such as building an initial attack IMT, strategic IMT staffing, while reinforcing the benefits and importance of staffing IMT positions in a unique way.

To enter the contest:
All you need to do is submit your best heroic TEAM picture of your Incident Management Team and your IMT Logo! We accept teams Type III - Type I. Each team is required to sign a release waiver for their photos and logo.

To increase your chances of winning IMT members may purchase raffle tickets at the 2026 IMTA Training & Education Symposium in Tacoma, Washington at EMDG's Booth #18. 1 - 2 winning teams will be selected exclusively at the IMTA conference and raffle ticket sales will be donated to the Incident Management Teams Association. Post IMTA symposium we will select an additional 1-2 winners from the national competition submissions list.

Prizes
3 - 4 Teams will be selected as winners based on the following:
Most creative & heroic IMT picture submissions. (Be creative, have fun, be safe, don’t do anything dangerous!)
Winning teams will receive a copy of Emergency Operations Center Disaster Wargame Series - Complex Coordinated Attack 8, a challenge coin, and IMT member pictures will be turned into a collectable IMT Card Deck to be incorporated into our future Disaster Wargames! Each IMT will receive copies of their cards.
