Game Description:
Crisis Command: EMA Edition is a tabletop exercise game built for emergency management professionals. Players staff an EOC under crisis conditions, making real-time decisions about resource allocation, inter-agency coordination, and public communication — all with incomplete information and competing priorities. The game is setting-agnostic by design: your team brings its own jurisdiction, org chart, hazard profile, and resources to the table rather than adapting to a canned scenario. No two exercises play the same way because no two agencies operate the same way.
Features:
- Setting-agnostic framework — works across any hazard type and any jurisdictional context. Eliminates the "that's not how we do it" problem.
- Decision-focused gameplay — trains judgment under pressure, not procedure recall. Players face resource conflicts, political pressure, and cascading failures.
- Simplified mechanics — realistic enough to generate meaningful training outcomes, streamlined enough that you're not burning the first hour on rules.
- ICS-based role structure — 9 roles map directly to real EOC positions, so players exercise the responsibilities they'd actually hold during an activation.
- Phased scenario progression — events escalate across structured phases, forcing teams to adapt plans as the situation deteriorates.
- Facilitator-driven — a dedicated facilitator controls pacing, injects, and scenario escalation, making every session tailorable to the group's training objectives.
- Scalable — runs effectively with 4 players doubling up on roles or a full 9-person team.
Game requires 10 sided dice (Not included with digital download)*
