HSEEP Compliant

Games are an approved exercise type by DHS, FEMA, and HSEEP! In fact according to FEMA the definition of games in HSEEP comes from the basic definition of a wargame. Wargaming in the U.S. goes back to the U.S. Civil War and has made major impacts on U.S. history and policy from World War I, and World War II, the Cuban Missile Crisis, to present-day.

Low Cost

We believe that everyone should be able to experience and benefit from disaster wargames. Traditionally, only the heads of federal agencies and military officers received this training. Our model is to make this the most affordable form of exercise.

Wargaming is used at every U.S. military academy and is the only form of exercise in the United States that has helped the U.S. win major battles in World War II in both the Pacific with the Battle of Midway, the Atlantic against German U-Boats, and helped the U.S. navigate and advert World War III during the Cuban Missile Crisis. To include having one of its most famous creators Professor Thomas Schelling win a Nobel Prize for "having enhanced our understanding of conflict and cooperation through game theory analysis".
