We have two Fellows joining EM Disaster Gaming that will be supporting us, please welcome Stephanie Polling and Noah Steege!
Over the next few months, we will be releasing regular video updates and “how-to” guides on Disaster Wargaming and how to play our games so you can get the most out of them.

Disaster Wargaming Training
We are developing 4 levels of disaster wargaming instructor training from beginner to advanced, and disaster wargame designer certification. These will be offered online, in-person, and hybrid. I’m hoping to release the first intro to disaster wargaming facilitation course online around the end of the month for free to all backers and supporters of the game! It’ll be a 3-hour online course. We are also working to be able to provide CEU’s for our training.
Last event of 2025!
In the next few weeks, we are hosting a game night at the Wisconsin Emergency Management Association Conference in Stevens Point, WI on the 24th and 25th. I’ll also be presenting on Disaster Wargaming and the Foundation of EM Law in the U.S.

With that, we are already planning our calendar for 2026 looking at FTEM in Florida, IMTA’s Conference, CESA in San Diego, MABAS-IL, GenCon, PaxWest, Connections Wargaming, and maybe even Essen Spiel in Germany…

FREE ICS – IMT Expansion
P.S. Did I mention our games now include a FREE ICS – IMT expansion that allows you to train and exercise using ICS in a meaningful way. You get to build an IMT in the game and as you make strategic staffing decisions, you’ll be able to upgrade your units and strengthen your team. Your IMT provides both active and passive benefits and has real impacts to the game. You get to see the impact and importance of having an IMT in a unique and engaging way. Also – you can even put yourself into the game and your team for added fun 😊
New website and e-store!
Since we launched last fall, we have quickly outgrown our original website and store. I’m excited to announce that EM Disaster Gaming has now moved over to Shopify! Moving to Shopify provides an easier, seamless experience for our customers with fully integrated shipping and order tracking! Did I mention that we now have live chat capabilities and even have an AI chat bot that can check your order status and shipping info? We are excited to launch on Shopify and our live today! Speaking of upgrades, we have also upgraded our business enterprise moving over to google business suite. We now have a dedicated customer support email inbox so we can respond and get back to inquiries sooner.
